Project Description

An ambitious and innovative, new building, the Student Learning Centre at the Toronto Metropolitan University (previously Ryerson University) is a visually stunning addition to the campus and student experience.

Crossey Engineering Ltd. provided the Electrical, Mechanical, Audio Visual, Connectivity, Security, Specialty Lighting and Sustainability design for the $77.7 million facility.

The Toronto Metropolitan University Student Learning Centre is a 8-storey, 155,460 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility located on Yonge Street in Toronto. This building opened during the winter of 2014 and includes student study spaces, media-rich spaces, exhibition spaces, music room, multi-purpose rooms, seminar rooms, and retail space for vendors. The Student Learning Centre is also linked to the existing Library Building.

This project received LEED Gold Certificate in 2016.
